Equity Research Analyst covering US Small and Mid Cap Companies

Embarked on my career in 2019 with an internship at Schroders, one of the UK’s largest asset managers, within their sustainable investments team as part of their graduate scheme.

During this time, I worked across two teams managing billions of investor funds:

– Resource Equities team under the leadership of Mark Lacey, where I contributed to the launch of their Global Sustainable Food and Water Fund.

– European Equities team led by Nicholette McDonald Brown, where I assisted a senior analyst in covering Non-diversified financials, fintech, and Payments companies.

I subsequently, transitioned to Federated Hermes, where I currently focus on US Small and Mid Cap companies. I collaborate with a team of four PMs, led by Mark Sherlock, taking charge of idea generation and stock selection.

In 2023, I successfully completed the Chartered Financial Analyst Program, passing all three exams on my first attempt. Throughout my journey, I’ve dedicated time to training interns and junior analysts in the fundamentals of equity research.

I strive to offer value through sharing my experiences from the early years of what can be a lengthy learning journey as an investor.
